General Terms and Provisions

Payment is due upon receipt of invoice. In the event that the advertiser fails to make timely payment, Korea Monitor may immediately cancel all orders for advertising and advertiser shall indemnify KOREA Monitor for all expenses incurred in connection with the collection of amounts payable, including court cost and attorney’s fees.

Contracts must be completed within one year of first insertion. Advertisers that do not fulfill the minimum required spending for the discount level applied during their contract year will be billed for all advertising run that year at a rate commensurate with the actual discount earned.

KOREA Monitor may, at its sole discretion, edit, classify, reject or cancel at any time any advertising submitted by advertisers. KOREA Monitor shall have full positioning latitude on all dvertisements except those with specified franchise or guaranteed positions.

Cancellation will not be accepted after closing. Cancellations must be received in writing no later than the 5th of the month preceding the month of the issue.

Advertiser shall be responsible for any production or creative services rendered by KOREA Monitor, regardless of cancellation of ad.

If the advertiser fails to provide copy to meet the deadline of the issue in which it has ordered space, the last advertisement run will be repeated. If no advertisement has been run previously, the advertiser will be billed for the space reserved.

It is understood that any artwork prepared by KOREA Monitor is not to be used by you in any publication other than KOREA Monitor.

If it is used elsewhere, you are to pay KOREA Monitor a reasonable fee for the artwork preparation.

No changes may be made to this contract without the written consent of both parties. Verbal agreements in conflict with this contract will not be recognized.

By signing this contract, the advertiser and/or agency agrees to indemnify and protect KOREA Monitor from any claims or suits for libel, violation of right to privacy, plagiarism, copyright Infringement and any other claims in connection with the advertising referred to in this order.

All contracts are conditional on strikes, fires, acts or God or the public enemy, war, or any cause not subject to the control of KOREA Monitor, excluding Advertiser’s failure and/or inability to perform.
